A little audience participation
Jane was at the Forest Centre in Marston Moretaine again today and it was another busy one – a minibeast safari. She went out this morning fretting about the weather – apparently sweep nets don’t do a very good job of catching bugs in long, wet grass, and bashing trees that are dripping with rain yield more than the usual crop of beasties. I’m sure she would have managed excellently in the rain but as it turned out it’s been fine all day.
This series of holiday events is proving very popular and there are now only places left on the Holiday Harvest Time on 15 August – details here
What with Aragon day in Ampthill, more willowy things at Irthlingborough, Northants, stories at Baulk Wood, Langford, Jane’s really busy at the moment.
