We are very pleased to be able to offer you the chance to buy some of our beef. It’s taken a while longer than planned after such a dry spring but two animals will go off to Evans at Marston Moretaine on 11 July. We hope you will want to buy some so please read on and come back to us by Thursday 21 July, with your order.
Simple to order – well fairly
We’d like to take your order whilst the meat is hanging in the cool room for three weeks, developing all that brilliant flavour. There’s a price list here with an order form attached. Once you’ve decided what you’d like, please email us, call us (01462 711815) or drop a note through the door (45 Clophill Road, Gravenhurst) before 21 July. We’ll confirm your order and you can pick up your fresh meat on one of two days – 4 or 11 August – don’t forget to tell us which you prefer. If you can’t make either of these dates, let us know and we’ll freeze your order until a more convenient moment. We currently do not mail order beef.
Free delivery
We can deliver, free, in Gravenhurst on either date. Just tell us a preferred time for delivery (between 12noon and 8pm) and we will drop it in to you.
Beef burgers for summer barbecues
We didn’t make burgers last time but as it’s summer we thought you might like some. So get that charcoal lit.
Sausages and salt beef
We are talking to the butcher about salt beef – they can do it but we need to know in advance if we have demand, so if you’re interested for next time, do let us know. We’ve met a fancy sausage maker (the sausages are fancy anyway). If you’d like to try some more exotic beef sausages, again, please let us know so that we can judge demand for next time.
