Storytelling for events
If your countryside event needs another attraction – Jane can provide storytelling performances. Busy events such as open days and festivals often require several storytelling sessions in one location during the day. For other events storytelling can provide the main focus with a storytelling walk around the reserve, park or gardens. The storytelling can be purely for entertainment; stories told can be linked to a theme or can be adapted or created to help introduce a message.
Activities for children
Jane can run wildlife themed craft activities or discovery sessions, either a programme of events or one off activities ranging from willow weaving to footprint painting; pond dipping to tree trails. Stories often find their way into Jane’s events, whatever they might be, to add another element to the activities.
Workshops and Training
Jane can provide training workshops on storytelling and wildlife activity sessions for countryside community and education staff and volunteers. Courses can be tailored to suit your needs and can be delivered either at your own venue or at the Wassledine farm.
